Nana's Potato Soup

Ingredients:
6 medium potatoes 
3/4 stick butter
2 cans evaporated milk
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
1. Peel and cut potatoes

2. Boil in pan until done
3. Add butter, salt, pepper, and evaporated milk

4. Sitr all together 

5. Place on low heat until served

Chicken Noodle Soup

                                                                
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons butter
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup chopped carrot
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 small potato, diced
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
4 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon
4 ounces egg noodles
2 cups cooked chicken
                                                                                        parsley

Directions:
1. Melt butter in large pot.
2. Sauté the celery, carrot and onion for 2 minutes.
3. Add potato, thyme, poultry seasoning, chicken broth and bouilion.
4. Bring to a boil.
5. Add noodles and chicken and cook on low for 20 minutes.
6. Sprinkle with parsley

Baked Potato Soup


Ingredients:
5 to 6 potatoes
3 cups milk
1 cup water
2 cups shredded cheddar
5 green onions chopped up (including the white part)
1 package bacon pieces/strips (I use oscar myer fully cooked)
1 16 oz container sour cream
1 1/2 sticks butter
Directions:
1. Cut potatos up into cubes (boil and drain water off and pour potatoes  back into large soup pot)

2. Add butter to the cooked potatoes and mash them

3. Add water, milk, bacon and green onion

4. Cook on low to medium heat till simmering (stirring often)

5. Then add cheese stirring until melted.

6. Add sour cream and cook until heated (do not boil)

                                                                     7. Serve topped with additional cheese,
                                                                               sour cream, and bacon.

*Serves 6-8*

Taco Soup


Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef cooked
1 can rotel
1 can corn
1 can peas
1 can ranch style beans
1 package powder ranch dip
1 package taco seasoning mix
salt/pepper
Directions:
1. Put in soup pot and simmer for 35 min 

2. Serve in bowls topped with crushed tortilla chips, cheese and sour cream.
